Bio
John Molster is a Senior Managing Director and leads the Global Managed Capital team within the Office of the Chief Investment Officer. In this role, John partners with Greystar’s leadership team to support the formation and execution of the company’s funds and ventures across the world. The Managed Capital team is responsible for capital formation globally, including Investor Relations, Client Relations, and Greystar's Strategic Partners Program. In addition, John and his team partner with the Office of the CIO and Greystar's regional leaders to implement research-driven investment strategies for all of Greystar's managed funds and ventures. John also currently sits on the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Greystar in 2014, John was Vice President at Sterne Agee, a private investment bank based in New York. John is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
John received his bachelor's degree in economics and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business.
