John Neal Scott is a Senior Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta Office Agency Leasing group, where he advises owners on leasing strategies that enhance long-term asset value. He works alongside Executive Directors Stephen Clifton and Zach Wooten, serving institutional and private capital clients throughout the Atlanta market.
John Neal brings more than 16 years of commercial real estate experience, having worked across both large institutions and entrepreneurial platforms. His background spans office leasing, acquisitions, asset management, portfolio strategy, construction strategy, and operational leadership. Earlier in his career, he held multiple roles with JP Morgan and MetLife Real Estate, where he focused on acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio management for institutional real estate portfolios. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at Foundry Commercial and previously led business strategy and financial operations for Hollandsworth Construction.
This diverse experience gives John Neal a distinct ownership-oriented perspective, allowing him to align leasing decisions with broader investment, operational, and portfolio objectives. He is known for his data-driven approach and ability to translate ownership goals into effective leasing execution.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, John Neal moved to suburban Atlanta at nine months old and has been rooted in the region ever since. He currently lives in Roswell with his wife, Hailey, and their three children.
John Neal is a graduate of the University of Georgia and earned his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
