John S. Wall, Jr. is a co-founder and Partner of 1912 Ventures. Prior to establishing 1912 Ventures, John co-founded BHW Real Estate Partners and was the top-producing real estate broker at Situs. He served a diverse customer base, closing several complex sale, lease, and advisory transactions across land, retail, office, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, and self-storage properties. John's efforts, most notably as a problem solver and executor, earned him acknowledgement as a Houston Business Journal "Heavy Hitter", recognizing Houston's leading commercial real estate brokers. John's experience is quite varied. John oversaw the firm's brokerage activities, which included the re-positioning and disposition of the firm's owned assets and third-party client projects. He was also accountable for deal sourcing, due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions. John is actively involved in several professional organizations. He served as Chairman of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Committee of the Houston chapter (ULI). He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Texas Association of Realtors (TAR). John is also a candidate of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) pursuing the CCIM designation. John earned his B.A. from Rice University, where he was a letter winner on the football team. He is a native of Dallas, where he attended high school at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He holds a Texas real estate broker's license.
