We strive to create wealth and solve problems for our clients, tenants, associates and the communities we serve. CCIMs and CPMs are change agents of the first order. They do a lot to help create new jobs and to save existing jobs. Commercial-investment real estate practitioners as well as other Realtors try their best to build a better world and more opportunities and a bigger "pie" for everyone instead of engaging in negative attitudes and destructive activities. We want everyone with a lawful and ethical purpose to enjoy success and the fruits of their physical and intellectual labors, imagination and creativity.
I was taught at home, in church, in Boy Scouts and in my schools and universities as well as by personal mentors that profit without honor was in fact a loss. Ethics in business is the hallmark of an honorable person. That was stressed over and over at SMU's Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas. A strong work ethic was also instilled in the same places by the same people in my life. Work gives creativity and purpose. Serving others and solving problems in life is a calling as strong as any.
