John Wilmarth has been a licensed real estate broker since 1986, with over 34 years of experience in commercial real estate. Originally working with LT Bicks Brokerage in Manhattan and later Van Riper Realtors in Bayside, Queens, in their commercial real estate departments while specializing in retail leasing and sales, he formed Metro Commercial and Business Brokers, Inc. with Gerry Dantone in August 1988. Over the years John has gained particular expertise in the development of vacant or underutilized properties, sale of mix use development sites and the sale of developed retail centers. He has also been instrumental in helping various retailers find the right locations for their business. John attended St John’s University and NYU majoring in Business and Real Estate. He is a member of the ICSC and LIBOR. John has consistently used his extensive knowledge of the retail markets throughout the Boroughs of New York City, Long Island and Westchester County to help his clients and customers.
