Bio
Jon Lee brings a deep-rooted passion for the Bismarck/Mandan community to his work in commercial real estate. Raised locally, he cares deeply about the region and remains committed to helping it grow and thrive. Jon graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Mass Communications, where he also served as a captain on the Track & Field team, an early indication of the discipline and leadership that would define his career.
For more than 35 years, Jon built a diverse professional path in franchising, management, and small-business ownership. After founding and later selling Bread Poets, he transitioned into commercial real estate with a clear purpose: to stay connected to small businesses, support his community, and help individuals achieve their real estate goals.
Since then, Jon has guided numerous clients through the complexities of buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties. He is especially passionate about assisting small-business owners, bringing integrity, creativity, and grit to every challenge. His experience also includes serving as a Business Advisor for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, where he mentored entrepreneurs through an intensive curriculum covering all aspects of business ownership.
Jon’s commitment to his community extends beyond business. He served nine years on the Bismarck School Board, including two terms as President, contributing his leadership to the future of local education.
At home, Jon is happily married to Juanita, the Public Information Officer at Bismarck State College. Together, they’ve raised three children and are kept endlessly entertained by their Goldendoodle, Tuxx, affectionately known as “the best, best boy.
