Bio
Jonathan Benowitz is a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Vice President at Davis Realty Group. He represents landlords, investors, and business owners in leasing, purchasing, and selling commercial properties throughout Central and Northern New Jersey.
Licensed in New Jersey and New York, Jonathan began his real estate career at 18 years old with Davis Realtors, initially serving as a Realtor Associate and as assistant to Founder Stuart Davis. In that role, he was directly involved in commercial transactions while gaining hands-on experience in brokerage operations, developing a practical understanding of how real estate deals are structured, negotiated, executed, and how brokerages are managed.
Within his first few years in the industry, Jonathan closed dozens of commercial and residential transactions, earning multiple New Jersey Realtors® Circle of Excellence Sales Awards while balancing his work with full-time studies and competition as a member of the Drew University Swimming & Diving Team. In 2024, he graduated Cum Laude from Drew University with a degree in Business.
Jonathan has conducted commercial transactions across key corridors in Central New Jersey, including Route 18, Cranbury Road, and Route 130, and remains actively engaged in the region’s office, industrial, and retail markets.
In addition to his brokerage practice, Jonathan is actively involved in industry leadership and professional development. He serves in a leadership role within the Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network (YPN) and is a frequent guest speaker at MJAR educational programs, where he hosts “Coffee & Commercial Real Estate” sessions designed to help residential agents better understand and navigate commercial opportunities within their client base.
In his role as Vice President of Davis Realty Group, Jonathan oversees marketing initiatives, financial operations, business development, vendor relations, and agent development across both the Davis Realtors and Davis Commercial divisions. He holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation, reflecting advanced training in brokerage leadership and management.
