Jon Davis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Davis. He has over 45 years of real estate management and development experience and plays a central role in the identification and evaluation of new opportunities, capital raising and management of the firm’s existing investment portfolios and serves on the Firm’s Investment Committee. He is actively involved with numerous business and civic organizations in the Boston area, including the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (“NAIOP”)[1], serving as a past President and Board Chair.
Jon has received numerous awards, including Ernst & Young’s New England Entrepreneur of the Year[2] in the real estate and construction category, and “Leader in Philanthropy”[3] award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals; past recipient of the Distinguished Real Estate Award by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP). Additionally, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay awarded Jon its Norman Leventhal/Edwin Sidman Community Leadership Award[4]. Jon was awarded the President’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation by The Boston Preservation Alliance. Jon was also awarded the Robert S. Swain Award[5] for distinguished service to both the real estate industry and the Greater Boston community by The Real Estate Finance Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
Jon also has been involved as a leader on the Boards of Directors of several nonprofit organizations, including Brandeis University, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, where he serves as a board and executive committee member and former Board Chair, The Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Foundation, The Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, and public radio station WBUR. Jon graduated from Brandeis University.
