Jonathan Powell, transaction manager for Newmark Knight Frank, is responsible for managing all aspects of the transaction process including market research, due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, marketing and client contact. Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, he was a senior financial analyst at Cushman & Wakefield where his responsibilities included proforma analysis, acquisitions underwriting, lease comparison analysis, market research and investor relations. Mr. Powell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics before receiving his Master of Real Estate degree from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He is a member of Houston’s First Baptist Church and is actively involved in Men: Serve, which mobilizes teams of men to serve widows in the church, and Church Under the Bridge, which serves the homeless and underprivileged in Houston.
