Career Summary
Jonathan Schneider joined JLL in June 2012 as part of the Real Estate Investment Banking team within the New England Capital Markets Group. Jon's focus is on originating, structuring and negotiating debt financing across all property types throughout New England, working under the direction of Capital Markets Regional Leader, Frank Petz.
With 20 years as a commercial real estate finance professional, Jon brings a broad range of experience as both a lender and principal, having directly originated and invested in over $1 Billion of transactions.
Prior to joining JLL, Jon was a managing director at the real estate finance advisory firm of Ackman- Ziff Real Estate Group, LLC. Previous to Ackman-Ziff, he was a Principal and General Partner at Otis & Ahearn Co-Investment Fund. Prior to Otis & Ahearn Co-Investment Fund, Jon was a commercial real estate finance professional at HSBC Bank and Bank of America for 17 years.
Education and Affiliations
Jon holds a BA from Boston University. He is a member of the REFA Board of Directors and the New England Baptist Hospital Board of Visitors. He appears as a guest lecturer at the Boston University School of Management and is a frequent REFA speaker.
