Jorge Marquez is a real estate professional with a strong background in housing policy, public service, and residential sales. He is a member of the Stuart Santana Real Estate Team at RE/MAX 2000, where he supports marketing initiatives and represents clients across a wide range of transaction types, including probate, trust, divorce, and standard sales, as well as VA and FHA homebuyer transactions.
Prior to entering real estate, Jorge served 12 years with the California State Legislature as a housing policy staffer at the district level, gaining in-depth knowledge of housing markets, regulatory frameworks, and community development. He also previously served as Mayor of Covina, further strengthening his understanding of local government, land use, and community needs.
Jorge primarily serves clients throughout Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, with a particular focus on the San Gabriel Valley and Greater Los Angeles. He brings a data-driven approach to every transaction, staying current on market analytics to provide accurate, timely insights for buyers and sellers. His experience includes guiding clients through complex situations such as foreclosure-related transactions, ensuring clarity and informed decision-making throughout the process.
