Bio
Josh Busby is a specialty retail executor, having worked 20+ years in multiple facets of commercial real estate. From 2018-2022, Josh worked as the Sr. Real Estate Manager for Parallel Holdings d/b/a Surterra Wellness and Goodblend, one of the nation’s largest medical cannabis operators, where he was responsible for the national retail expansion for over eighty (80) dispensary locations. Most recently, he was a Regional Development Manager with WMG Development, focusing on site selection and land acquisition for freestanding Heartland Dental offices throughout Florida. In addition, Josh has worked as a tenant and landlord representative for Franklin Street Real Estate and Continental Real Estate Companies in Orlando, FL.
Before moving to Orlando in 2010, Josh worked for DDR, a publicly traded REIT, as a Leasing Manager, Specialty Center, where he was responsible for leasing lifestyle centers throughout the US. Josh started his career in 2003 with IBT Group, LLC in Chicago, IL. He was a Development Manager responsible for site selection and analysis, creating proformas for commercial developments, preparing lender packages, and negotiating LOIs and leases.
Josh lives in Ocoee, FL, with his two sons and English Bulldog. He likes to spend time with his kids, golf, and travel in his free time. He attended college at MacMurray College and DePaul University, where he studied Business Management with an emphasis in Real Estate.
