lie always dreamed of living in the mountains and after briefly living in Utah and California, she and her husband, three kids, two dogs and 7 cats returned home to Idaho by settling in Lava Hot Springs. A lifelong reader, Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a marketing minor from Utah State University. After college she taught junior high and high school for 20 years (and survived!). Over the years she has personally invested in rentals, rehabbed, and “flipped” properties. Always an entrepreneur at heart, she and her family operate several short term rentals. She has served as Vice President of the Lava Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and as the events coordinator for their annual Fire & Ice Winter Festival, named by USA Today as one of the Top 10 Winter Festivals in the U.S. As a professional Realtor she is a top-performing agent in Southeast Idaho and is active in her local and state associations, having served on the Idaho Realtors Education Committee, Legislative Committee and as Chairperson for the Idaho Realtors Annual Convention. Since 2016 she has held her Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designation, obtained her GRI designation, selected to be a participant in the 2018-2019 Idaho Realtors Leadership Academy and obtained her Broker’s license.
