Justin E. Schlageter, MAI is a First Vice President of the Valuation & Advisory Services division of CBRE in their Sacramento office. Since 2002, Justin Schlageter has performed real estate appraisal and consulting assignments throughout California and Nevada, with an emphasis on lodging properties. He specializes in upper-upscale and luxury lodging facilities in resort areas like Lake Tahoe, Mammoth Lakes, Napa & Sonoma Counties, and other drive-to leisure destinations in Northern California.
As part of CBRE’s National Hotel Valuation team, Justin has appraised and consulted on more than 200 lodging assignments within the past three years in California and Nevada. These assignments included several institutional-grade lodging assets with individual property values exceeding $450 million, new construction/expansion/renovation developments, and hotels going through brand/flag transition and/or repositioning. Justin has also performed work on property tax appeal cases and provided expert witness testimony for litigation support.
In addition, Justin has years of experience appraising all other major property types of commercial real estate including entire residential subdivisions, retail, office (general and professional), industrial, multi-family, mobile home parks, RV parks, golf courses, and vacant land. Special-use experience includes educational facilities (schools), campgrounds (transient and summer), marinas, gas stations, self-storage facilities, cellular antennae, and event centers.
