A Maine native, Karen grew up in Edgecomb (midcoast), her late father was a lobsterman, and her grandfather is still active in the lobstering community. While studying abroad in England she met her husband Josh, they married in 2016 and together have a son Terrence, daughter Violet, four parrots and an adorable dog. Her husband Josh is co-owner of SoPo Seafood, an incredible must-try fresh seafood restaurant and wholesaler in South Portland.
