Ms. De Clercq joined Castlelake in 2017, focusing on optimizing Castlelake’s operations strategy and developing sustainable, state-of the-art, efficient and well-controlled processes that support the needs of its stakeholders. Ms. De Clercq has more than 30 years of professional banking experience in a variety of operational and risk management roles, including supporting the post-trade execution cycle for fixed income cash and derivatives, foreign exchange, commodities, and bilateral and syndicated wholesale loans.
Prior to joining Castlelake, Ms. De Clercq was head of Global Loan Operations and Regional Head of Debt Operations for North America at Deutsche Bank. There, Ms. De Clercq oversaw the strategic development of the Loans Operation function and the Fixed Income middle office. Ms. De Clercq began her career with J.P. Morgan and held a variety of operations management roles in Brussels, London and New York. She received her degree in economics from the University of Gent, Belgium.
