After graduating from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Education she taught mathematics in Omaha, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and abroad in Southeast Asia. Her rewarding career as a teacher taught her the importance of patience and listening so that she may best accommodate each individual's specific needs. In 2008 she moved to southwest Florida, switched careers to real estate, and with her father formed the Smith Team. Several years of immersion in the Cape Coral Fort Myers, and the surrounding real estate market with a strong focus on waterfront properties and specialized training in short sales and foreclosures has put her on the forefront of the current market trends in sales, marketing and customer service.
