Bio
Keith H. Budner joined Swearingen Realty Group, L.L.C. in 1990. His primary focus is representing the commercial real estate interests of his corporate clients. Mr. Budner brings impressive credentials and a diverse range of experience to the clients he serves.
In 1993 he became an officer of the company and a senior vice president in 2000, and has been recognized as one of Swearingen's top producers for each of the past eight years. In 1997, he began applying the Swearingen Realty Group's approach to the representation of his restaurant clients, today heading Swearingen's restaurant services.
His career in commercial real estate began in 1979, serving as a project leasing director and marketing officer for a Dallas developer where he created successful marketing plans and assisted in the procurement of long-term financing for the projects.
In 1983, Mr. Budner founded a full-service real estate brokerage company. Prominent among his transactions was the syndication and financing of four Texas shopping centers. He has also represented numerous corporations in their search for office, retail and industrial space. Mr. Budner's expertise is evident, as well, in the fact that he has been called upon to provide testimony as an expert witness in cases requiring the evaluation of office markets and office leases. He has worked with a number of prestigious corporations on their national and international real estate requirements including one firm with over 70 locations. He has represented clients and negotiated transactions in every major market in the country as well as several international markets.
Despite the demands of his career, Keith Budner finds time for community organizations. He is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Echad Apartments for the elderly, served as a member of the board of the Vogel Alcove (day-care center for the children of the homeless), and is a founding member of the Executive Committee of the Young Leadership Group for Golden Acres. He is also an active member of the St. Mark's School of Texas Alumni Association, and has been active in fund-raising for Southern Methodist University, the Lamplighter School, and the Theodore Roosevelt Association.
Keith Budner is a graduate of St. Mark's School of Texas, Tulane University (BA), and received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Southern Methodist University's Edwin L. Cox Graduate School of Business.
He resides in Dallas with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two sons.
