Bio
With deep family roots in Central Texas, Kelly has a unique understanding and perspective of the landscape of the area and the people that call it home. In 2014, Kelly began his real estate career while he was currently pursuing his career as a firefighter. He worked and mentored with several other successful real estate brokers throughout his journey as a real estate sales agent. He has facilitated numerous landmark transactions, many of them off market, from residential, farm and ranch, a 16,000 square foot commercial building to several land transactions and played a major role in an $800M mix-use development with a National Corporate Headquarter relocation. The project ultimately went another direction, but Kelly had the opportunity to learn how to establish public/private partnerships with local and state governments, learn zoning and use requirements, applying for incentives and the overall complexity of a project of that magnitude. In 2022, Kelly founded Loessin Properties as he was earning his Broker’s license. He has served his community in and around Travis and Williamson Counties as a Firefighter for more than 20 years. Bringing that integrity, accountability, and dedication to serving others with real estate needs is a huge bonus to the business relationships Kelly has built. Kelly’s boots on the ground experience provides a wide range of expertise that covers all areas of real estate and development, and he brings extensive market knowledge and experience to every deal. His reputation, community involvement, and relationships across Central Texas enables him to turn many challenges and obstacles into opportunities of successful transactions. His particular strength is spotting areas of future growth and working with local governments in planning for expansion and growth.
Kelly has recently joined forces as a broker associate with a full-service real estate brokerage, commercial construction, and commercial investment firm in Georgetown, TX called Headwater to further expand and work with a successful group of experienced professionals in the commercial industry. Kelly is honored to be a part of the Headwater team and together they will be focusing on understanding the constant revolving real estate market, learning how to find each and every property’s true value for the clients they represent, understanding both their local and national investor’s needs, their developer’s needs, and provide strategic planning, transaction management, and the financial structuring to ensure a successful completion of every deal that comes across the table. Kelly will remain the designated broker for Loessin Properties continuing the residential and farm/ranch markets under that umbrella.
Kelly learned a great appreciation for the land and its value on the black fertile lands of Central Texas. Working on the farm and raising cattle shaped his hard work ethic and he learned quickly that in order to reap the reward, you sow the work, have faith in the man upstairs, and when the time comes you will be blessed with the rewards. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and is also a drummer who is passionate about music and has fond memories of performing live in many of the historic dancehalls and street dances across Texas communities!
Kelly is married to his wife and business partner Stacey who is also a real estate agent and they share 3 wonderful children Trevor, who is also a real estate agent under Loessin Properties, Payton who just graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in business and works for a Commercial Construction company, Lauren who also just graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Global Commerce and looking to start her career in real estate as well.
