Kerry is internationally recognized as one of the country’s leading experts in architecture, construction, and real estate. He is founder and principal of Levin Associates, a Chicago-based firm providing a unique blend of integrated building services for commercial and residential properties. He enjoys the reputation of the “Consultant’s Consultant,” serving hundreds of clients and industry professionals throughout the world.
Kerry is a 1976 High Honors graduate from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, where he remains a visiting lecturer and donor. He holds architectural registrations in Illinois and Wisconsin, with previous reciprocity in Indiana, Missouri, Arizona, New Jersey, and District of Columbia. He is a past or present member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the Society of American Registered Architects, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Environmental Assessment Association, and the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers.
In addition to his architectural licenses, Kerry is also a Real Estate Managing Broker, having written numerous documents for real estate transactions. He has received numerous awards for design and construction, and has been regularly published in national and local newspapers and trade journals. He is a guest speaker for civic organizations, corporations, and professional associations, as well as a visiting university lecturer and regularly featured guest on radio and television shows. His belief that “Architecture blends Art, Science, and Economics” is carried out throughout all facets of the firm’s work.
