Kevin serves as President of Article Student Living and is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s operations and overall strategy. He oversees a market leading vertically integrated student housing company focused on delivering outstanding performance to Article’s investors, residents and employees. Over his 28-year career in real estate, Kevin has acquired or developed over $4 billion of large-scale multifamily residential, office, retail and mixed-use properties across the major U.S. markets. Kevin has completed joint ventures with some of the nation's largest insurance, asset management and private equity real estate firms. Prior to joining Article, Kevin co-founded Bissell Street, a real estate investment and advisory firm that provided asset management services for a portfolio of over $1 billion of multifamily residential, hotel, office and retail properties on behalf of institutional investors. Previously, Kevin served as President and Chief Investment Officer of The John Buck Company, where he led the acquisition and development of over $2 billion of multifamily residential, office and mixed-use properties. Earlier in his career, Kevin was Chief Investment Officer at Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (formerly Transwestern Investment Company), where he led the investment of over $2 billion in real estate across the U.S. on behalf of Pearlmark's private equity funds. Kevin earned his A.B. degree at Brown University and his M.B.A. at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is an active member and former IOPC national council chair of the Urban Land Institute.
