Since launching his real estate career in 1993, Kevin McDermott has successfully brokered the sales of hundreds of properties, spanning condominiums, single-family homes, commercial spaces, new construction and multi-unit investment properties. His deep market knowledge and strategic approach have made him a trusted advisor to buyers, sellers, and developers alike.
Kevin recently led the marketing and successful sales of two premier condominium developments in Somerville—Cedar Place (19 units) and 28 South Street (16 units)—achieving outstanding sale-to-list price ratios of 99.3% and 101.7%, respectively. His expertise extends beyond sales; with over 30 years of hands-on experience as a landlord, investor, and property developer, he has acquired, renovated, built, and sold numerous homes. A former holder of a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, Kevin is also a recognized expert in local zoning and building codes and is frequently sought after for his insights on development and compliance.
Originally from Ireland, Kevin attended University College Dublin, where he double-majored in Mathematics and Pharmacology. Outside of real estate, he is an avid golfer, cyclist, and hiker who enjoys exploring the outdoors and the vibrant communities he serves.
