Bio
Kevin graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1967 and graduated from UCLA 1971 with a BA in Economics. He started working at Smith-Mitchell, the original name of Smith-Kandal, in July 1971. He was licensed as an insurance producer in 1971, a Real Estate salesman in 1972, and a Real Estate Broker in 1974. He has specialized in selling farm real estate and 1031 exchanges since 1974. Kevin has sold in excess of 250,000 acres of farmland valued at more than $1 billion in his career. He co-developed and built 300 homes. He has served on the Board of Directors of Del Rio Country Club where he is still a member. Kevin is also a member of San Diego Country Club and the Stockmen’s Club of Imperial Valley.
He attends and is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brawley and is a past Elder of the congregation. He is a partner of Smith-Kandal Insurance and Real Estate since 1976. His hobbies include golf and earning real estate commissions.
