Ms. de Buhr joined Avison Young in 2011 as Associate Director in the Tenant Representation group, focusing primarily on the Chicago downtown office market. Ms. de Buhr is part of a team headed by Principals John Ziesmer and Kevin Moore. The team and its partners advise tenants on all concerns related to commercial office occupancy. Ms. de Buhr is responsible for new client development and maintaining local market intelligence.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Ms. de Buhr spent two years as a Senior Associate at Grubb & Ellis identifying and pursuing revenue-generating opportunities and maintaining market intelligence. Prior to her entry into brokerage, Ms. de Buhr worked as a business developer for a real estate services vendor, and her own contract clients in B2B and B2C industries. Ms. de Buhr’s early career was in marketing communications, holding positions first with General Motors, then Navistar.
