King Patel is a lifetime hotelier who founded the Sunset Hotel Group in 1996.
Mr. Patel is responsible for all management and business activities at Sunset. He is active in the banking, private equity, capital structure, and manages/secures franchise agreements for properties such as Intercontinental, Hilton, Choice, Marriott, Red Lion, Wyndham, among others. Under Mr. Patel’s leadership, Sunset’s history includes the turnaround of dozens of distressed hotel properties and development of multiple new hotels.
