As Chief Financial Officer of Regency Hotel Management, Kyle Scholten oversees financial reporting, data processing, accounting, audit, risk management, real estate taxes, financing, and lender relations. Kyle also supports the CEO of the company with operational oversight, budgeting and reporting, capital expenditure review and oversight, as well as shareholder and partner communications and relations. Joining the company in 1999 as a corporate accountant, Kyle has held various positions with the company and its affiliates, including 11 years as the Controller. His involvement has included working with the properties and property accountants, hotel acquisitions, the on-going management and supervision of the accounting department, the promotion of the green program energy efficiencies and solid waste reduction. Kyle and his team are responsible for payroll, accounts payable, monthly financial statements, regulatory returns and real estate tax appeals for over 40 locations within the company.
