Leyla's path to real estate is unlike any other agent's. Originally from Germany, she arrived in the U.S. in 2015 with boundless intellectual curiosity about the lifestyle, housing, tax system, and more. In fact, Leyla studied for and passed the real estate exam strictly for informational purposes. As she explored her New Jersey neighborhood, she came across a "deaf child area" sign, and again, her interest was piqued. Leyla is the child of deaf parents and has been responsible for directing many aspects of their lives from a young age. Leyla soon discovered that more than 800,000 deaf men and women live in New Jersey alone, many seeking translators and assistance in real estate matters. "I decided to take that as a sign that, with real estate, I can help make someone's biggest investment an effortless process while also putting a real purpose and meaning to what I am doing," she explains.
In Europe, Leyla was a management assistant in fashion wholesale, representing a Dutch luxury outerwear brand throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In that profession, she formed her exceptional professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail, knowing that a single mistake could cost her company millions. "Whether you're handling a massive wholesale transaction or overseeing someone's home sale or purchase, mistakes are simply not an option," she says. Today, her real estate clients rely on her diligence, superior negotiating skills, and passion for helping people.
Leyla is fluent in English, German, Turkish and sign language. She resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where she loves the natural landscape and local community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with her French Bulldog, who brings calm and balance to her busy lifestyle.
