Lloyd DeFoor has been in real estate since 1981. He began working in real estate with his father in law, and is now working with his sons, John and Jeff. Lloyd is on the state board of directors for the Georgia Association of REALTORS (GAR). He is also a past president of GAAR and has served on several local committees within the association.
“I have always believed in the code of ethics and we have a duty to treat customers, clients, and other REALTORS with respect and dignity. We should treat everyone the way we would want to be treated,” said Lloyd.
Lloyd grew up in Calhoun, Georgia and attended Shorter University on an athletic scholarship. Shorter is where he met his wife Susan Eubank. After graduating, he and Susan moved back to the Augusta area to work with her father in the Real Estate business.
Lloyd is also an active member of Damascus Baptist Church where he serves in many different areas. He is on the Greater Augusta Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board of Directors as well as on the board for Augusta First Bank and Trust. In his spare time, Lloyd leads mission trips through Global Health Outreach to Ecuador, Moldova, Nicaragua and many more countries.
When it comes to real estate, Lloyd says, “The real estate profession has been good to a number of us and it has been my joy to have been able to give a little something back.”
