Lori Palermo is the Principal Broker and co-owner of Palermo Real Estate, located in beautiful Springfield, Oregon. She has lived in Springfield most of her life and is a 1978 graduate of Springfield High School. Lori has been in the real estate business since 1993 and is a second-generation REALTOR®. She started her career joining her parents, Pete & Mary Palermo in the family business, Fairway Real Estate. She is a graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI), is certified by the National Association of Realtors as a GREEN Designee and holds the Certificate of Excellence, a coveted certification through the National Association of Realtors.
Lori is active in the community as well as the real estate industry, serving on the Springfield REALTORS® Board of Directors since 1994, President in 2000, 2004, and 2007, and is currently serving as Director. She is a charter member and Past-President of the Lane County Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, serves on the Board of Directors of the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) as well as the Board of Directors of the Springfield REALTORS® as a Past President of the Oregon REALTORS®. Lori is passionate about fair housing and diversity and is a member of NAREB (National Association of Real Estate Brokers), NAHREB (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Brokers) and The Alliance (The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, a national multicultural real estate organization) and serves on her local community Diversity Committee.
Lori continues to volunteer her time with Springfield High School Athletics Programs, local programs for children, Bags of Love and Food For Lane County. Lori was honored as the Springfield Board of REALTORS®, REALTOR® of the Year in 1999 and 2013, 2018 and WCR Businesswoman of the year in 2005. She was named Oregon REALTORS®, REALTOR® of the Year in 2021.
Lori and her husband Dave Brow were married in May of 2010 and opened Palermo Real Estate in 2011. Their hobbies include cooking, traveling and watching sporting events – especially the Oregon Ducks, and spending time with their grandchildren.
In 2020, son Joey Silence joined the family business as a 3rd generation Springfield Realtor®. Joey holds an MA at Grand Canyon University and brings a background in marketing, communications and customer service.
