Lynn Carpenter joined Colliers Nashville as a brokerage coordinator to support the industrial brokerage team in 2015. Shortly thereafter, her support services expanded to brokerage teams from both the office and retail sectors as well. When Colliers added the Project Management Service line in August 2018, Lynn supported that team as well, and still oversees all invoicing of project management clients. Lynn streamlines inter-office processes, manages team reports, creates and designs marketing materials and serves as a liaison between 14 brokers, the project management team, property management, and clients. With over four years in commercial real estate administration and fifteen years of accounting experience before joining Colliers, Lynn is a skilled handler of operations and numbers. Colliers is excited to have acquired Lynn’s expertise in organization and efficiency.
In Charlotte, North Carolina, Lynn began her commercial real estate career as Lease Analyst Coordinator for Kimco Realty Corporation. She oversaw tenant CAM and TAX billing, lease abstraction, tenant reconciliation backup, and analytical reporting for over 90 shopping centers. Lynn worked closely with more than 500 tenants in the firm’s Southeast and Puerto Rico regions.
After becoming a certified veterinary technician, Lynn worked at an animal hospital for nine years. She soon progressed into the role of office manager. Always a “numbers person,” Lynn transitioned from office management to accounting with a move to Stanford Financial Group. She spearheaded Stanford’s Associate Expense Review Department until her move to Kimco Realty.
As a child, Lynn learned to read sheet music before she could read books. She remains passionate about singing and plays four different instruments. Her husband, who writes songs in his spare time, shares Lynn’s enjoyment of music and you will often find them out on the dance floor. Lynn loves connecting with others both personally and professionally and has volunteer experience with several grief support groups, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and her church.
