Born in Southern California, Madeleine, her two sisters, and brother grew up playing on kegs of nails and lumber in their parent's general contracting business. Life took an exciting turn when they moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and all worked together in the family hardware and lumber business operating four successful stores for over 20 years.
During that time, Madeleine was actively involved in her husband's general contracting business where they were buying homes to "fix and flip" or building new construction "spec" homes ranging in size from 2,500 SF to 6,000 SF. With working in retail and construction trades for so many years it became a natural transition to become a realtor and she joined Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. While living in Honolulu they had a second home here in South Lake Tahoe for 10 years and when it became time for her parents to retire, the family moved to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Madeleine joined up with Coldwell Banker McKinney in November 2000 and is now affiliated with Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate since the merger in July 2021.
