Licensed since 1998, Maria Marinelli has worked in the primary and secondary home markets and investment properties throughout South Jersey. Her first job in real estate was working with Berger Realty in Ocean City as a rental agent. In 2002, Maria Marinelli changed brokerages, moving to RE/MAX of Ocean City, where she continued to sell in Ocean City and throughout the South Jersey region. In January of 2014, Maria Marinelli accepted the position of Managing Broker for the Long and Foster Real Estate office in Longport, as well as still actively selling in Ocean City, as well as throughout the Cape May and Atlantic County real estate markets. At times, Maria Marinelli has used her cross-market knowledge to find the perfect shore home that met clients' wants at a price that met their budget.
Her interest in the field of real estate has opened her to opportunities to become involved in many different areas of the profession. Since 2006, Maria Marinelli has actively been a Director on the Ocean City Board of Directors and served as President in 2012, taking the Board through the recovery from Superstorm Sandy, as well as serving on the OCNJCARE housing committee. The housing committee located and placed flood victims in first temporary and then long-term housing as it became available.
Giving back to the community is important and working with the Ocean City Board of Realtors Community Service Committee helped to launch Bubble Mania, a fun-filled day of bubbles benefiting the Shore Memorial Pediatric Care Center and Ocean City Historic Museum. Serving as a Director on the South Jersey Shore Regional MLS (Multiple Listing Service) since 2001 and President of the Board in 2007, allowed her the opportunity to serve her fellow Realtor community by creating the rules and regulations for data sharing throughout the region.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics with studies in finance and computer science, as well as holding the following licenses, designations, and certifications: Realtor Institute (GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute)), a NJ Broker’s License, Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Internet Professional (ePRO), a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), and Ocean City Real Estate Specialist (OCRES).

Her greatest accomplishment and title are Mom, and Maria Marinelli is enormously proud of her son, Jeffrey, who is her go-to tech genius and studied computer science at Rutgers University.
