Mr. Hong is Vice President of Atlas Real Estate Corporation where he works with clients to create elegant solutions for commercial notes and OREO’s. Mr. Hong has established relationships with over 50 banks and REIT's.
Over the years Mr. Hong acquired experience in principal and investment brokerage, specializing in retail and multifamily development, repositioning, and stabilized investments. He has expanded his knowledge through working on over $500M of commercial real estate subject to foreclosures, bankruptcy, loan workouts, distress, etc.
Notably, Mr. Hong played a key role in the development and brokering of The Gateway at Lassen and Mason, valued at over $45 million for the 7-acre project. He has also managed the construction of an 118-unit high-rise in Hollywood, CA.
In his personal life, Mario is an opera singer, enjoys cooking, and is a pole vault champion.
