Mark Kaplan was born in Berkeley, California, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He went to Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a BA in only 2 years. He received his broker’s license in 1985 and his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 1999. He has always been based in San Francisco, though he has nationwide experience. Prior to founding Rockwell Properties, Mark worked at Franciscan Properties, NNN Properties, Ritchie Commercial, Prudential Commercial and TRI Commercial. Recent sales in San Francisco have ranged between $2-$5M. Experienced in all aspects of Real Estate, recently Mark has been specializing in office, retail and warehouse leases in San Francisco with 2 or 3 transactions a year outside San Francisco. Over the last 30 years Mark has over 500 individual transactions.
