Mark Rantala was with CB Commercial from 1986-1994 as a retail specialist. Mark was five-time member of the CB Commercial "Top Five," as well as a winner of the Cleveland Office Tradition of Excellence Award. Mark was recently selected by his fellow CBRE Retail Brokers and recognized nationally as the 1999 "Larry Perrish Leadership Award" winner for his demonstration of leadership, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
From 1994 to 1998 Mark was president and broker of Rantala & Co., a Westlake, Ohio retail real estate brokerage firm specializing in retail site acquisition and landlord representation. Rantala & Co. was acquired by CB Richard Ellis, Inc. in November of 1998.
Mark is now Vice President and Director of Retail Services. His experience, prior to 16 years as a retail specialist, includes six years of architecture and construction management and six years in the restaurant industry on the property management and development side with TGI Fridays, Club Corporation of America, Spats, and Rally''s restaurants.
