Mark Read, a veteran with more than 30 years in the commercial real estate industry, serves as the regional president of brokerage for Kidder Mathews’ Southern California & Southwest region. In that capacity, Read has helped Kidder Mathews open offices in San Diego (2015), Phoenix (2015), Irvine (2016), Carlsbad (2016), Inland Empire (2016), Long Beach (2017), Commerce (2017), and Los Angeles (2017).
Read was formerly a broker and then senior managing director for CBRE, where he managed more than 220 employees and 100 sales professionals across multiple service lines in the San Diego region. Immediately prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Read was an executive managing director for Voit Real Estate Services, where he was responsible for the company’s Orange County, Inland Empire and Los Angeles offices.
