Mark strives for excellence through his real estate services to others and always works hard to protect his client’s best interests. A 3rd generation Carroll County native, Mark focuses his area of expertise in Carroll and Baltimore counties. Mark recently won the 2024 "Elite" Production award from Carroll County Realtors which recognizes the highest award given in the county. In 2021, Mark won #1 Solo Agent for all of RE/MAX Advantage Realty with over 60 home sales and the Community Service Award. In 2018-2021, Mark received “America’s Top 100 Award”, and from 2019-2004 has been part of Baltimore “REAL PRODUCERS Top 500” award for realtors in the Maryland Region.
Mark was awarded “Carroll’s Best Realtor” from the readers of the Carroll County Times in 2013 and has been a part of Maryland’s number one real estate company RE/MAX Advantage Realty (leads MD in Real Estate sales volume per agents in the brokerage) since 2014.
When selling, he has a comprehensive customized marketing plan for every client which includes a detailed market analysis, professional pre-listing repairs consultation, staging plan, professional photos, and timed Coming Soon/Listing strategies to maximize the potential for earning TOP DOLLAR for the sale. He also works hard to consistently communicate and always negotiate the best possible deal for sellers. With a background in Accounting, Mark knows the importance of numbers and a seller’s “Bottom Line”.
For Buyers, Mark takes the time to meet with every buyer prior to starting the home buying process to establish a smart and aggressive approach to help clients navigate the low inventory market that we are currently in. This includes personal calls to other realtors to ensure accurate list dates, ensuring the buyer is pre-approved for the list price, and reiterating the importance of the 3 L’s. Mark always stresses the importance to clients of never sacrificing on Location, Layout, and Loan amount.
When not helping clients, Mark enjoys coaching lacrosse, biking, skiing, white water kayaking, and spending time with his wife Sandra and four kids.
