Bio
Based in New Jersey, Mark Russo joined Savills in 2021 as Director and Head of Industrial Research. In this role, he provides oversight for all industrial research initiatives in the United States and Canada. Mark leverages his deep understanding of industrial market analytics to deliver actionable insights to clients. He produces a variety of reports, white papers and data tools that support client strategic real estate planning and contribute to Savills thought leadership.
Mark came to Savills from Newark, a full-service commercial real estate company, where his successes included building a new national industrial research platform. He also directed research for all property types for the company’s New Jersey office, where he designed and launched a new industrial market tracking system. Prior to his role at Newmark, Mark was based in the global headquarters of LaSalle Investment Management in Chicago. As an associate on the research and strategy team, he managed proprietary forecasting models for major industrial markets across the United States.
Mark is an active member of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association. He is regularly called on by the media to offer his perspectives on the market and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Commercial Observer.
