Mary Ellen Baur is a Suffolk native who is proud to call “Peanut City” home. Growing up in the timber industry, she has an intimate knowledge of land management. Before beginning her real estate career, she and her husband ran a family logging business, Baur Logging. Mary Ellen currently serves as a Commissioner on the City of Suffolk's Planning Commission. She is an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Suffolk and enjoys volunteering in the local community. She loves all things outdoors: fishing, hunting, sailing – but most of all, spending time with her twin boys, Charlie and Ashton, and husband, Eric. Mary Ellen has always been a solution-oriented person who utilizes her knowledge, skills and experience to get results.
