With a lifelong background in construction and real estate, Mary Herrera brings over 35 years of experience, dedication, and integrity to every client relationship. Growing up in a large family deeply rooted in the construction industry, Mary gained hands-on knowledge from her seven brothers and older sister; skills that shaped her strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2000, Mary founded Marquee Homes and MH General Contractors, two successful companies specializing in the development of custom homes, small to mid-sized commercial projects, Montessori schools, office complexes, and medical facilities. Through these ventures, she mastered the art of managing complex contracts, pricing strategies, and client expectations with precision and professionalism.
Following the 2010 recession, Mary transitioned into real estate sales, bringing her same commitment and drive to helping clients achieve their goals. She joined Eric Hancock Land Brokerage, where she quickly became a top team leader, successfully brokering numerous land and waterfront sales around Lake Lewisville in North Texas. Later, at United Real Estate, Mary earned recognition as one of the firm’s top producers for three consecutive years.
After taking time to care for her lifelong business partner and husband of 40 years, Mary joined Fathom Realty, where she is proud to be part of a dynamic, supportive, and well-organized team that values continuous growth and professional development.
Mary’s passion for learning drives her pursuit of becoming a licensed Broker. She loves connecting with people from all walks of life, spending time in nature, and giving back to the community; especially causes that support children and animals.
