Matt Hyman joins Hillwood as USSC Market Leader, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in industrial logistics development. Based at Hillwood's headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Matt will lead the South-Central business unit and focus on spearheading the execution of Hillwood’s existing projects and planned expansion in the Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Colorado markets.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Matt served in key leadership roles at Ryan Companies and Duke Realty Corporation, where he led and expanded industrial development initiatives across Texas. With a track record of completing millions of square feet of industrial land acquisitions, development projects, and lease transactions, Matt's proven expertise in financial transactions, purchase and sale agreements, and build-to-suits make him a valuable addition to the Hillwood team.
Matt’s dedication to excellence and commitment to delivering exceptional results have earned him prestigious accolades, including the D CEO Power Broker designation from 2015 to 2022 and being awarded DFW’s Top Industrial Lease in 2015. He holds a BBA in Economics from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business and is a licensed salesperson in Texas. He serves on the executive board of the North Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS ® (NTCAR) where he is the 2025 President-Elect.
