Matt Kurucz is a Managing Director in the Industrial Group of Crow Holdings Development, where he is responsible for leading CHD's industrial development business in Chicago and the Midwest. In this capacity, he oversees site selection and acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and project capitalization. Kurucz joined Crow Holdings Development at the beginning of 2018, in conjunction with opening the firm's Chicago regional office.
Prior to joining Crow Holdings Development, Kurucz served as Director of Real Estate Development at The Opus Group, where he was responsible for the leasing and development of more than 3.7 million square feet of Class A industrial space throughout the Chicago market. He also held positions at WCCG, a private real estate investment firm in Austin, Texas, as well as at IDI, Inc. (now IDI Logistics) and First Industrial Realty Trust, both in Chicago, Illinois.
