Matt Reilly is the new Director of our Commercial and Property Management department at The Advantage Realty Group in Tuscaloosa, Al. Matt is part of the Wilson family from Montgomery, Alabama and he has been around the Commercial Real Estate business all his life. His Grandfather, Jim Wilson Jr. was responsible for the development of over 20 million square feet of Retail Shopping Center Space including the River Chase Galleria in Birmingham, AL, Eastchase in Montgomery, AL, and The Macon Center in Macon, Ga. Matt has 9 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate and first started with us back in 2016 where he worked with our commercial department on sales, leasing, and management of the Ellis Family portfolio and third-party clientele. Matt moved to Birmingham in January of 2020 to work for Crawford Square Real Estate Advisor in their Property management department. During his tenure at CSREA Matt managed over 5 Million Square feet of Class A Retail shopping center space in 5 different states in the southeast. Matt was tasked with tenant relations, Tenant coordination, project management, budget creation, rent collection, construction management, and financial reviews on a regular basis. In his final year at Crawford Square Matt was promoted to Manager of Tenant Coordination and Construction Management where he oversaw The construction of tenant build outs for 11.5 Million square feet of shopping center space in 8 different states across the southeast. Matt rejoined our team In February of 2024 and brings his wealth of experience back to Tuscaloosa to grow our Commercial and Property management departments with the Ellis Family.
