I'm originally from the Chicago area, a graduate of Finance from Illinois State University. From this background in finance I accepted a position with Janus Funds here in Colorado and quickly realized that the real tax and investment opportunities existed not in mutual funds, but in investments made in real estate. This realization brought to bear a whole new dimension to my philosophy, one of being able to provide my clients with a service that would benefit them for a lifetime. That's how I began my career in real estate, and landed my first real estate position with one of the largest investment real estate firms in the nation.
It was there that I started working with Jeff Johnson. Almost immediately we realized that our individual strengths were the perfect compliment for a successful partnership. Once firmly ingrained in the pulse of the Denver Market, it didn't take long to hear about Unique Properties, whose reputation echoed their success. Upon closer inspection, I found that not only were they a boutique firm, a very attractive alternative to the corporate world I was familiar with, but they were doing more transactions than their larger competitors. What's more, the personal relationships that Unique developed with vendors around town were unparalleled. I knew that it would be these relationships, as well as Unique's profoundly respected reputation, that would give Jeff and I the edge in garnering the greatest success for our clients.
And so we moved to Unique Properties. As the newest members of the team, we bring with us a long list of attributes including an indisputable work ethic, a long list of sales and inventory, and a determination to earn our place among this highly respected group of individuals. Our goal is to continually increase our client's net worth over the next 30 years. We want to make sure that the clients we represent today are with us for a long, long time; that if they have a real estate need, they know they have aligned themselves with the best team they can get. Coincidentally, this is the same philosophy Unique Properties has built its reputation on. Which just means we're in the right place, at the right time.
