Bio
Matt has been in the industrial real estate field since 1988. He is a graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington, Indiana) where he received a degree in Business with a minor in Communications. Matt began his real estate career in 1988 with William Kritt & Company where he focused exclusively on commercial/industrial real estate on the City of Chicago’s South/Southwest sides. Matt joined Paine/Wetzel-ONCOR International in 1998 as Vice President and continued to focus on commercial/industrial real estate primarily within the City. Matt served as President of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) and is a commissioner for the City of Chicago. Matt is a past member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and is currently active with the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council.
Over the course of his career, Matt has completed over 300 industrial real estate transactions exceeding 4.5 million square feet and totaling over $325,000,000. Matt has been named a “Top 40 Under 40” in Real Estate Chicago and became a recognized top producer at Paine/Wetzel-ONCOR International. Due to his real estate expertise, Matt has been appointed as commissioner for the City of Chicago and has been hired as a consultant by the City of Chicago, the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority and the many local real estate attorneys.
