Matt works on Nuveen's Alternative Housing team and currently leads self-storage across the U.S. The team has acquired approximately $1bn in GAV of self-storage since the beginning of 2021.
Matt joined Nuveen in 2017. Before transitioning to the Alternative and Strategic transactions team, Matt worked on Nuveen’s Housing team and accrued $2 billion of apartment and student housing transaction experience. Additionally, he has held positions asset managing assets and has served as Secretary of Nuveen Real Estate’s Investment Committee. Before joining the firm, Matt worked for KPMG in their national real estate consulting group, where he was nominated for KPMG’s National Chairman’s Award for High Performance.
