As the President and majority stakeholder of Art Weiss Industrial Properties, Inc., Matthew leads the strategic direction of the company, focusing on expansion and acquisitions in the commercial real estate sector. He also manages the company's large volume of transactions and oversees its diverse portfolio of assets. He is dedicated to fostering a high-performing team, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, upholding corporate governance and promoting innovation. With his leadership and extensive industry expertise, Matthew has been instrumental in achieving AWIP's strategic objectives. With a career in commercial real estate that began in 2001, Matthew brings over 20 years of experience to AWIP. A licensed broker and general contractor, he has a comprehensive understanding of the industry's nuances. His expertise covers industrial acquisitions, construction, management and leasing. Matthew is responsible for acquiring more than 1 million square feet of industrial buildings, originating over 10 million square feet of industrial leases comprised of over 500 transactions. Additionally, he has secured in excess of $150,000,000 in commercial financing. Matthew has consistently guided projects from inception to success, building strong client and stakeholder relationships along the way. In addition to his professional pursuits, Matthew is passionate about philanthropy, supporting initiatives focused on marine conservation, youth education, and community support.
