Matthew joined Edgemark in 1997 and specializes in retail leasing and tenant representation. Prior to joining Edgemark Mr. Smetana worked at Real Estate Consultants, Inc. working as a leasing specialist for multiple retail, office and industrial properties. Matthew’s clients include a variety of institutional, regional and local owners such as Reef, LNR Partner, LLC, CBRE Global Investor, Sun Capital Advisors, LLC and many more. Several clients he represents include La Z Boy, Inc., Bedding Experts, Back To Bed, Mattress Barn, Battery Giant, Citibank, Werner Co. and others. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, is an Illinois Licensed real estate broker and member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
