Matthew W. Stepan, CCIM is a Commercial Real Estate Advisor with Premier Commercial, Inc., focused on investment property sales and owner representation, with more than 20 years of experience and over 700 completed transactions totaling in excess of $500 million.
Matthew represents institutional, private, and owner-operator clients in the sale and disposition of office, medical, retail, industrial, and land assets. His investment sales work is supported by deep experience in asset valuation, lease analysis, and transaction structuring, including complex lease negotiations, early terminations, subleases, renewals, and built-to-suit transactions. He is frequently engaged to advise owners and lenders on redevelopment strategies, zoning and entitlement considerations, and the repositioning of non-conforming or storm-impacted properties to maximize value at sale.
In addition to transactional brokerage, Matthew has advised multiple local, regional, and national banks on disposition strategies for foreclosed commercial properties and has prepared asset valuations used for underwriting and FDIC reporting purposes. His client base includes financial institutions, healthcare systems, government agencies, community associations, publicly traded development companies, and professional service firms.
Matthew earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2010, a credential recognized for advanced expertise in financial analysis, market evaluation, and investment decision-making. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Eastern Illinois University and brings a disciplined, practical, and analytical approach to each assignment.
