Matthew Wenzel is a land and redevelopment specialist working in the firm’s Newport Beach office. Matthew started at Marcus & Millichap in 1995 and has 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Matthew has closed over 180 investment real estate transactions valued at nearly $500 million during his career and he is a Senior Managing Director Investments for the firm.
Matthew has been a company-wide Top-10 National Land and Redevelopment Broker for Marcus & Millichap in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2024. In 2024 Matthew ranked 6th in developmental land sales for Marcus & Millichap in the entire nation.
Matthew graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Michigan in 1983 and also graduated with an MBA (Concentration in Finance and Real Estate) from the University of Michigan in 1990. Matthew currently holds a Real Estate Brokers License from the State of California.
